HOW can teens (and their parents) find out
whether high schoolers are really going all the way?
In "The Real Truth about Teens & Sex," a new book by
Sabrina Weill, former editor in chief of Seventeen.
Although it's not news that teens are more sexually
sophisticated these days, Weill's book reveals
eye-opening information about modern young adults
and sexuality: 1 in 11 teens says he has been in a
situation where people were having sex in front of
him, and only 13% of high schoolers say they've
received enough information about abstinence and
contraception. For parents who are shocked by this
information, the tome also includes tips on talking
to teens about sex. These days, the birds and the
bees just doesn't cut it.
